Fachschaftsrat 3 der TU Bergakademie Freiberg (FSR3)

  • Vertreten der Studierenden in Gremien der Universität
  • Unterstützung bei Klausurvorbereitungen
  • Studienberatung
  • Erstsemesterausstattung
  • Vernetzung der Fachschaftsräte innerhalb der Universität
  • Vernetzung der Fachschaften außeruniversitär innerhalb Deutschlands durch Fachschaftstagungen der Geologen, Geoökologen, Geophysiker, etc.
  • Durchführung von Veranstaltungen: Erstsemestereinführung, Grillabende, Barbarafeier, etc.

Kann ich mich aufstellen lassen? Da in der Regel Anfang Mai ein neuer FSR gewählt wird, endet die Frist, um sich aufstellen zu lassen, drei Wochen vorher. Für den Fachschaftsrat kann sich jeder Studierende der Fakultät 3 aufstellen lassen.

Wie wird das Gremium gewählt? Der Fachschaftsrat, bestehend aus max. 9 Mitgliedern, wird von den Studierenden der Fakultät 3 direkt gewählt.

Studentenrat der TU Bergakademie Freiberg (StuRa)

  • Arbeit zu hochschulpolitischen Themen
  • Verwaltung der Gelder im Sinne der Studentenschaft
  • Planung und Durchführung kultureller und sportlicher Veranstaltungen
  • Beratung zum Thema BAföG und allgemeine Sozialberatung
  • Beratung zum Studiumsverlauf und Prüfungen

Kann ich mich aufstellen lassen? Die Fachschaftsräte der einzelnen Fakultäten entsenden mit Beginn ihrer Amtszeit bis zu drei Studierende an den StuRa. Dafür kann sich jeder Studierende der TU Freiberg aufstellen lassen.

Wie wird das Gremium gewählt? Der StuRa wird nicht gewählt, sondern von den Fachschaftsräten entsandt.

Fakultätsrat (FakRat)

  • Wahl des Dekan und Studiendekanen
  • Beratung und Entscheidung über die Verwendung von Ressourcen der Fakultät (Geld-, Sachmittel, Personal, etc.)
  • Beratung und Entscheidung über grundsätzliche Fragen der Forschung und Lehre innerhalb der Fakultät, dazu zählt die Entscheidungen zu Studiengängen, Prüfungs- und Studienordnungen

Kann ich mich aufstellen lassen? Für den Fakultätsrat kann sich jeder Studierende der Fakultät 3 aufstellen lassen.

Wie wird das Gremium gewählt?  Die max. drei Studierenden im Fakultätsrat der Fakultät 3 werden von den Studierenden der Fakultät 3 gewählt.

Studienkommission (StuKo)

  • berät Fakultätsrat bei der Organisation des Lehr- und Studienbetriebs
  • überarbeitet Studien- und Prüfungsordnungen, um Regelstudienzeit zu gewährleisten und an den Stand der Wissenschaft anzupassen
  • Befragung der Studierenden zur Qualität der Lehre (gemeinsam mit Studentenrat)

Kann ich mich aufstellen lassen? Ja, sobald ein Mitglied die StuKo verlässt oder der FSR ein neues empfiehlt.

Wie wird das Gremium gewählt? Das Gremium wird nicht gewählt, sondern jeder Studierende des Studiengangs kann sich dafür aufstellen lassen.

Student Representative Council 3 of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg (FSR3)

  • Representing students in university committees
  • Support with exam preparations
  • Student counselling
  • First semester equipment
  • Networking the student representative councils within the university
  • Networking of the student councils outside the university within Germany through
  • student council meetings of geologists, geoecologists, geophysicists, etc.
  • Organisation of events: First semester induction, barbecue evenings, Barbara celebration, etc.

Can I stand for election? As a new FSR is usually elected at the beginning of May, the deadline for standing for election is three weeks beforehand. Every student in Faculty 3 can stand for election to the Student Representative Council.

How is the committee elected? The Student Council, consisting of a maximum of 9 members, is directly elected by the students of Faculty 3.

Student Council of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg (StuRa)

  • Work on university policy issues
  • Administration of funds in the interest of the student body
  • Planning and implementation of cultural and sporting events
  • Advice on BAföG and general social advice
  • Advice on the course of studies and examinations

Can I stand for election? The student councils of the individual faculties send up to three students to the StuRa at the beginning of their term of office. Every student of the TU Freiberg can stand for election.

How is the committee elected? The StuRa is not elected, but sent by the student councils.

Faculty Council (FakRat)

  • Election of the dean and deans of studies
  • Advising and deciding on the use of faculty resources (funds, materials, personnel, etc.)
  • Advising and deciding on fundamental questions of research and teaching within the Faculty, including decisions on study programmes, examination and study regulations.

Can I stand for election? Every student of Faculty 3 can stand for election to the Faculty Council.

How is the committee elected? The maximum of three students on the Faculty Council of Faculty 3 are elected by the students of Faculty 3.

Study Commission (StuKo)

  • advises the Faculty Council on the organisation of teaching and studies
  • revises study and examination regulations in order to guarantee the standard period of study and to adapt them to the state of the art in science
  • Surveys students on the quality of teaching (together with the Student Council)

Can I stand for election? Yes, as soon as a member leaves the StuKo or the FSR recommends a new one.

How is the committee elected? The committee is not elected, but every student of the degree programme can stand for it.
