SUMMARY:Prep and pep – Advancing your presentation
DESCRIPTION:Content description\nThis workshop focuses on gaining skills fo
 r successfully and sustainably presenting scientific findings and research
  results in front of larger audiences with a specific focus on conferences
 /conventions.\nAttention will be given to these issues:\n\n\n 	planning yo
 ur presentation and working out a “red line”\, defining the  form of 
 your presentation\, defining and addressing target audience\, purpose\, mi
 ssion and benefit\n 	 welcoming the audience/introducing yourself\, getti
 ng and keeping the audience attention\n 	alternative forms of openings and
  ending to attract attention and make a memorable impression\n 	structurin
 g presentations wisely\, signposting\, transitions to guide the audience\n
  	creating and using visuals (theory of perception and esthetics\, creatin
 g effective slides\, deleting redundant information\, visual support of yo
 ur presentation)\n 	non-verbal communication such as employing your voice 
 effectively and employing body language.\n\nTo create realistic scenarios\
 , participants contribute their recent scientific research results to hold
  different mini- as well as a final presentation\, which will be analyzed 
 and given feedback to. The workshop therefore consists of attendance time 
 (5x4 units) and individual coaching per Mail to assess the progress made\,
  to empower participants and to get aware of remaining weaknesses.\nDates\
