Welcome to the blog of the Student Representative Council (FSR) of Faculty 5 at TU Bergakademie Freiberg!

The student council is the student representation of the students of this faculty and is committed to representing the interests and concerns of the student body. Our aim is to create a positive study environment and to promote communication between students, lecturers and the university management. The minutes of our meetings are published to members of TUBAF on OPAL. The corresponding link is on our blog.

In the FSR, students from various disciplines within Faculty 5 are committed to working together to improve the quality of teaching, study conditions and student life. We organize informative events, provide support with questions about studying and advocate for the interests of students in university committees.

You can find us at the FSR office (FOR-0121) during meeting or office hours – drop by and get to know us! We look forward to supporting you during your studies and to experiencing a successful and fulfilling time at TUBAF together with you.

Current office hours: during FSR-meetings or upon request.

Current meeting times: weekly on Mondays at 1:15 PM (During the exam period, meetings are biweekly. The times might differ during that time – in doubt, consult ).
