This event concludes our five-part series on “Global and Developmental Issues in Resource Justice.” It will take place online at 7:45 p.m. on June 28, 2022.
On the content: Agbogbloshie is one of Africa’s largest e-waste dumps in Ghana. The Agbogbloshie Makerspace Platform (AMP) is an open-source initiative tailored to Africa that promotes the reuse and recycling of scrap. The AMP spaceship is a flexible workshop for the works. Small, mobile, expandable, low-cost, and open source, the spaceship functions as a set of tools and equipment to shape space in different ways. As such, it enables users with limited resources to navigate and shape their environment together.
Our speaker is DK Osseo Asare, Pennsylvania University USA/Accra/Ghana.
Participation in the event is free of charge. Registration is not necessary
Cooperation partners: SEBIT and Oscar Choque – Expert Promoter for Natural Resource Policy, Development and Migration
