7th Freiberger PhD Conference: From research to success – possible paths in science

Everyone´s research takes them on a different path through the fields of science. What is yours? We invite you to present and discuss your project which shapes your path in science at this year´s PhD Conference, organized by the PhD council of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg.

All PhD students are invited to present their research, motivation and objectives to our community. You can portray your personal path in science to other PhD students in a 20-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute discussion. Our keynote speakers will shed light on their personal experiences in science, giving you insights into areas which you might not have discovered yet.

You don´t want to give a presentation? Then why don´t you design a poster instead and have an inspiring discussion about your topic in one of the poster sessions? In general, the conference language will be English. However, exceptions can be made for presentations in German.

You now have the chance to register your contribution with a title and a half-page abstract. The PhD conference offers an ideal opportunity for practicing your presentation skills in a conference environment, as well as exchanging ideas, networking and planning of possible future collaborations with other PhD students from different fields.
