Mental training for a healthy mind – Spotlight training series

This training series covers stress management, overcoming fears, finding groups and contacts, settling in at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg

Content in details: current burdens and stressors, resilience and social support, personal challenges and resources, change of perspective (influence of upbringing, cultural background, evaluation), coping strategies/methods to build self-efficacy, optimism, confidence, mindfulness; peer group (what is this, advantages, possibilities, areas of application), forming and testing different peer groups

6 workshops for international and local students
recurring and binding participation in all 6 workshops is recommended

The sessions take place online on Tuesdays from 05:30 p.m. to 07:00 p.m. via Zoom.

10 May – Mental stress competence
17 May – Protect yourself from stress
24 May – Peergroup Meeting
31 May – Instrumental stress competence
07 June – Regenerative stress competence

Lecturer
Suzanne Jones is a graduate psychologist, certified systemic advisor and therapist.
Since 2012 she is working as a freelancing trainer and she lives in Berlin. Her working focus lies on health promotion and stress prevention. The portfolio includes seminars und workshops on the topics of resilience, communication, healthy leadership, personality development as well as corporate health management.
