Winter School „Energy, Oil and Gas in the Arctic Region“

The International Winter School “Energy, Oil and Gas in the Arctic Region” will be held on 11-17 March 2018 in Arkhangelsk.

The School is organized by NArFU Higher School of Energy, Oil and Gas known for its extensive expertise and academic tradition in training highly qualified specialists for the Russian and international oil and gas clusters. The participants will receive complex overview of the oil and gas potential of the Arctic region, extend their knowledge in technological solutions of sea and shelf fields development in the North, discuss ecological problems.

Die nächste und zugleich letzte allgemeine Informationsveranstaltung für
dieses Semester findet am Donnerstag, 25. Januar, von 13 bis 14 Uhr im SPQ-1406
in der Prüferstr. 2 statt. Es ist keine Anmeldung erforderlich.

Die nächste allgemeine Informationsveranstaltung zu Auslandsaufenthalten
während des Studiums findet im April statt.

Research in the Arctic Region – Arctic Floating University

From 10 July to 29 July 2018 a marine research and education expedition takes part in the Arctic region of Russia. The expedition consists of a research and an educational programme. The Programme focuses on bachelor, master and PhD students. All expeditions are carried out on the research vessel „Professor Molchanov“. Deadline for application: 15 February 2018. Please send enqueries and applications to the organiser, the Northern (Arctic) Federal University (contact details see Arctic Floating University and Application Form). Participants can apply for funding through the PROMOS scholarship programme. Due to the duration of this programme, funding can only be 575 EUR maximum.
