Die Frankfurter Ortsgruppe von Arbeiterkind.de veranstaltet einen Online-Vortrag zum Thema Bewerbung in deutscher Sprache. Neben der Hauptvortragenden berichten Gäste über ihre Erfahrungen zum Thema und beantworten die Fragen der Teilnehmenden.

TEXT IN GERMAN (English see below): Vom 14. Juni – 02. Juli 2021 findet das „Festival contre le racisme“ (FCLR) statt – wegen der Corona-Pandemie leider nur online.
Das FCLR wird seit 2003 vom freien Zusammenschluss der Student*innenschaften jährlich an deutschen Hochschulen durchgeführt und seit 2005 gemeinsam vom fzs und dem Bundesverband ausländischer Student*innenschaften (BAS) koordiniert. Es versteht sich als eine Kampagne gegen Rassismus und Menschenfeindlichkeit und es umfasst zahlreiche dezentral organisierte Veranstaltungen.
Das Motto des diesjährigen FCLR lautet: „Dekolonisiert die Hochschulen! Dekolonisiert euer Wissen und eure antirassistische Praxis!“
Das diesjährige FCLR bietet wieder ein buntes Programm aus Vorträgen, Filmen, Workshops und Musik. Jeder kann an den Veranstaltungen teilnehmen, man muss nicht als Student eingeschrieben sein.
TEXT IN ENGLISH: From 14 June to 2 July 2021 the Festival contre le racisme (FCLR) will take place online.
The FCLR has been held annually at German universities since 2003 by the Free Association of Student Unions, since 2005 jointly coordinated together with the Federal Association of Foreign Student Unions (BAS). The aim is to campaign against racism and misanthropy. The festival consists of locally decentrally organised events in different German universities.
For the year 2021, the motto is: „Decolonise the universities! Decolonise your knowledge and your anti-racist practice!“
A diverse and international programme of seminars, films, workshops, music concerts & over artistic expressions awaits you! You can find more information on Instagram, Facebook and the national homepage.
Anyone can take part in the events, you do not have to be enrolled as a student.
Do you know this: for weeks now you have been struggeling each day to motivate yourself in this strange empty situation of studying virtually without much contact to real persons around you. From time to time you get the impression to lose your self-confidence. While only occuring rarely a couple of months ago, you are now more and more often experiencing doubts if you can finish your studies soon successfully.
You are not alone!
It might seem hard to always motivate yourself. And it is! We are at your side and would like to invite you for a social adventure trip with fellow international students to find your original strength and spark once again.
Even though we have to use the virtual tools also for this special training, we believe it will become an empowering experience for you because we have a lot of practice to create a positive atmosphere of trust and belonging.
It is free from any pressure to perform and is unrelated to your studies content-wise. But you will get know a lot of very useful tools for self reflection and decision making which you probably will find useful for your future professional career.
We call this 2-days block course “PandEscape” and it will take place from
May 19th, 13:00 – 20:00 and May 20th, 16:15 – 20:00 on zoom.
The event will be held in English.
After registration you will receive the ZOOM meeting link via e-mail.
Participating during the full time will help you the best and will be most beneficial. But in case you have an important lecture and would have to miss only a small part of the programme, it would in principle still be possible to participate.
We are very happy that we can offer this block course without any fee.
