Digitalization has its advantages. There are many social and economic benefits of digital technologies that are widely known and well documented. But there are also environmental and climate-related aspects of digitization that are more nuanced and less widely discussed. What are the drivers and challenges, trade-offs and opportunities that digital technologies bring, especially for rapidly digitizing economies like India?
