The Faculty Council is responsible for all organizational questions in a Faculty. This includes:

• election of the Dean and the Deans of Studies
• proposals for examination regulations
• faculty-wide regulations
• teaching and research reports
• suggestions for appointments
• Faculty development
• planning, securing and coordinating the range of courses
• granting of academic degrees and titles

Each member group in the Faculty Council elects its representatives to the Faculty Council once a year.
