Nachfolgend die Stellenbeschreibung:

The assistant will provide support in the effective research, information management, event-planning and general administration projects for international projects and programs.

Description of Duties:
• Event coordination and logistics of international project and program workshops and networking events.
• Assist with file management activities such as electronic file renaming, paper file organization
• Develop and maintain an inventory of research experts at the University of Alberta utilizing MS Excel or google documents. This will include researching websites but also following up by emails or phone calls to appropriate Departments and administrators for clarification when needed.
• Help develop and maintain database – assist with data entry, key wording on programs
• Assistant with compiling program feedback evaluations
• Research and synthesize past proposals/projects for best practices to document and present relevant findings to team members.
• Organize files, create meeting agenda’s and minutes
• Reviewing applications to ensure they meet requirements
• Assist with creating and updating marketing materials
• Assist with a best-practices how-to guide for international projects and programs that is succinct and relevant. This includes researching successful international projects and programs business models, analysing opportunities, bidding procedures, cost-analysis guidelines, researching and understanding UAlberta union agreements, administrative and purchasing guidelines, risk management procedures, strategic alignment with UAlberta and success metrics.

The successful candidate will:
• InDesign and Photoshop is an asset but not a requirement.
• Spanish or French is an asset but not a requirement.
• Be self-motivated, a problem-solver and a team player
• Be exceptionally well-organized and detail-oriented,
• Have excellent time management and task priority management skills
• Have good research and synthesis skills
• Independent self-starter
