Our partner university Montanuniversität Leoben in Austria organizes a summer school as a blended intensive programme.
Topic: Water: Tool and Resource. Looking at water from different perspectives
It takes place between 14 July and 13 October, partly on-site and partly online. The on-site week will take place from 31 July to 5 August 2022 in Leoben.
Participants can get 5 ECTS, provided they take part in both the online and offline part.
Funding is possible through Erasmus for a blended short term mobility and will be 70 EUR/day. Depending on your personal circumstances you might be eligible for a travel allowance as well.
Montanuniversität Leoben will be hosting a new international and innovative course format this summer/autumn. In a combination of virtual and on-site parts, participants will gain an understanding how the planet’s water boundaries are interlinked and what role water can play in our striving for sustainability both as tool and as resource to be protected. The Planetary Boundaries Concept and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) serve as theoretical framework, in which this course aims to discuss and experience the role of water from different perspectives and in different areas.
Target participants: students in their PhD or advanced master students of technical fields, who are related to or have an interest in water. You need to be enrolled at TUBAF for the full duration of the BIP
