„Advent Calendar Challenge“ on facebook

The website „Study in Germany“ is currently running an “Advent Calendar Challenge 2017” for international students. Participants may win a prize. The organizers are looking for 24 entries, which will be compiled in one calendar for all Study in Germany facebook users, so that, each day, one of the tiny doors can be opened.

The question to all international students is: “What thoughts and memories go through your mind when you think about Christmas in Germany? Tell the world about it!”

The participants may submit their Christmas stories in a number of different ways, e.g. as text, video or audio file. Along with the entry, they should also tell us a little bit about themselves, such as name, country of origin, field of study, …

All international students currently studying or former studied in Germany can enter the challenge. The submission date is 31 October 2017.

The internship program is mainly directed towards the cooperation with companies and universities all around the world, including oil and gas companies and universities, international relations and collaboration, organizing work and work with international students, language internships and cultural exchanges, paperwork management, media marketing (mass media work, journalism) and IT (web design, content management, proof reading, web master, etc.).

Internships at the International Department of Ukhta State Technical University has been of great benefits for the students. Interns at Ukhta State Technical university gain advantages such us an individual internship plan according to their direction of study, working on international projects, accommodation and services for free (negotiable), participating in university/regional/trans-regional seminars, festivals, conferences, etc.

This internship can be useful to students, who need to get international work experience, culture exchange, see a new country and work in a team. Especially, it is important for future specialists of International relations, Journalism, management, information technology, communication and media studies and Russian language studies etc.
