Für den 19. Dezember 2022 hatte das International Office Promovierende und Studierende mit Kindern zum Online-Adventsbasteln eingeladen. 10 Kleinfamilien beteiligten sich daran. Die Teilnehmenden hatten zuvor ein Bastelset aus erzgebirgischer Produktion erhalten – wahlweise ein Fensterbild mit Weihnachtsmann und Rentier und Weihnachtsbaum oder ein Räucherhaus in Form eines Iglus mit einem Eskimo. Die Teilnehmenden stammen aus Ägypten, Albanien, Äthiopien, China, Iran, Nigeria und Russland.
