Content description
Scientific writing requires clear structuring, specific grammatical, and sound stylistic knowledge. English scientific writing of any kind needs to consider specific cultural aspects as well. In these sessions, error analyses by the coach will help discovering common mistakes, which will then be improved by the participants in interactive group work sessions. Based on participants’ papers, issues such as clear structuring on a macro and micro level, cutting and combing techniques, avoiding redundancies, comma rules, active/ passive voice will be scrutinized. Supported by the coach, participants will moreover advance different sections of their papers such as the abstract and introduction. Participants will receive a link to an online platform a couple of days prior to the workshop.
