DocSumCube is the 3rd edition of the Circular Economy Summer School, coordinated by KU Leuven, with partners from Ghent University, Universite de Liege, RWTH Aachen University and Swerea IVF. During the summer school, those successful doctoral students coming from a range of disciplines come together in a rural part of Belgium in the summer months to learn about innovation and entrepreneurship, business modeling, pitching and circular economy of materials. This is underpinned by a real industrial challenge coming from companies in our network. The selected doctoral students are clustered into team and each day, are required to use the knowledge gained from the daily lectures and discussions to develop a solution to the industrial challenge. At the culmination of the summer shcool, all student teams pitch their solutions to a jury of business representatives and investors.
