The International Mineral Processing Congress (IMPC) is still in full swing! The official program features more than 300 lectures – with each of the participants having a 15 minute speaking time at their disposal.
If one were to hold all the lectures one after another, that would easily add up to over 3 days of non-stop reporting on the latest developments in the field of mineral processing technologies. That way, even the most interested audience would eventually suffer from a diminishing concentration. 😉
In order to have enough breaks in between the lectures and still be able to deliver all contributions within 4 days, 6 to 7 lectures take place simultaneously and are organized in different sessions. Dr.-Ing. Max Hesse, research assistant at the Institute of Mineral Processing Machines (IAM), has given a lecture on the “Influencing Parameters of the Selective Comminution at Impact Load” in the “Comminution & Classification” theme group.
