Die Deutsch-Amerikanische Fulbright-Kommission vergibt Stipendien an deutsche Promovierende, die ab dem 1. Mai 2021 ein vier- bis sechsmonatiges Forschungsprojekt in den USA durchführen möchten.
Das Stipendium finanziert Unterhaltskosten von 1.600 Euro/Monat, die transatlantische Reise und eine Kranken-/Unfallversicherung. Das Fulbright J-1 Visum ist kostenlos, und für sonstige Nebenkosten kommt eine Pauschale von 300 Euro auf.
Bewerbungsschluss ist der 1. Oktober 2020.

Zur Unterstützung der Internationalisierung in den Natur- und Ingenieurwissenschaften vermittelt der Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst (DAAD) nordamerikanische, britische und irische Bachelor Studierende in Forschungspraktika an deutsche Hochschulen und Forschungseinrichtungen. Die Studierenden werden während ihres Praktikums von einer Doktorandin/einem Doktoranden angeleitet und betreut.
Der DAAD unterstützt die in den Sommermonaten stattfindenden Praktika mit Stipendien, finanziert durch Mittel des Auswärtigen Amts und durch institutionelle Kooperationen.

Das ERP-Stipendienprogramm unterstützt ein- bis zweijährige Studien- und Forschungsvorhaben an amerikanischen Spitzenuniversitäten USA-weit.
Das Programm richtet sich an Absolventen aller Fächer. Neben den Lebenshaltungs- und Reisekosten können im Programm Studiengebühren in Höhe bis zu 50.000 USD übernommen werden. Mit der Aufnahme in das Programm geht auch eine Aufnahme in die Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes einher.

The ERP Scholarship Programme supports one to two-year study and research projects at top American universities throughout the USA.
The programmme is aimed at graduates of all subjects. In addition to living and travel expenses, the programs can cover tuition fees up to 50,000 USD (ERP). Inclusion in the programme is also accompanied by admission to the German sponsorship organisaton Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.
Bereits im Februar 2020 informierten wir an dieser Stelle über die diesjährige Ausschreibung des „Johann-Andreas-Schubert-Preis“. An der Ausschreibung können sich die sächsischen Hochschulen vorwiegend mit den Bereichen/Fakultäten, die Bezug zur Metall- und Elektroindustrie haben, beteiligen.
Der Einsendeschluss für von den Dekanen vorgeschlagenen Arbeiten ist nun der 31.08.2020.
The organizing commitee of the XVI International Forum-Сontest of students and young scientists „Topical Issues of Rational Use of Natural Resources“ is pleased to inform you that this event will take place.
The Forum will be held on June 17-19, 2020 in a fundamentally new video conference format using the Cisco WebEx.
The platform allows up to 3000 participants from anywhere in the world to make a live presentation, listeners _ to ask both live questions and in text message format.
The participants will need a minimum set of equipment: a computer (laptop) with a camera and a microphone and Internet access. All participants will be provided with the necessary technical support and links to the videoconference.
The Forum-contest covers 10 research areas (Appendix). Annually, the Forum-contest is attended by more than 400 participants from the universities and companies of 30 countries. The jury members are leading scientists and specialists from Russian and foreign universities and companies.
Graduate students, post-graduate students and young scientists up to 35 years of age without a PhD degree with a level of English proficiency not lower than B1-B2, whose study area or subjects of research correspond to the list of breakout sessions are invited to participate in the Forum-Сontest.

The winners of the Forum-Сontest will receive a grant from the International Competence Centre for Mining-Engineering Education under the auspices of UNESCO for a short-term internship at one of the leading universities and companies of the mineral resources complex, as well as the possibility of publishing a full-text article after internal and external review, in a separate collection of CRS Press (Taylor & Francis Group, Netherlands).
