Das Studienwerk der Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung gehört zu den 13 Begabtenförderungswerken in Deutschland und vergibt Stipendien an Studierende und Promovierende aus dem In- und Ausland, aus allen Fächern und an allen Hochschulen.

Das Studienwerk möchte den Anteil der von ihnen Geförderten an ostdeutschen Hochschulen gerne erhöhen, liegt dieser in einigen Bundesländern leider noch unter dem Bundesdurchschnitt.

Es werden zwei Bewerbungsverfahren pro Jahr durchgeführt. Die Bewerbungsfristen enden jeweils zum 1. März und zum 1. September.

The Studienwerk of the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung is one of the 13 organizations in Germany which supports talented students and doctoral candidates and awards scholarships to students and doctoral candidates from Germany and abroad, from all subjects and at all types of higher educational institutions.

The Studienwerk would like to increase the proportion of those supported by the Heinrich-Böll-Foundation at East German universities which is unfortunately still below the national average of all federal states.

There are two application processes per year. The application deadlines end on March 1st and September 1st.
