Wir wollen mit Ihnen die vielfältigen Anforderungen diskutieren, die im Rahmen der Promotion gestellt werden und Strategien besprechen, diese Zeit gut für die künftige berufliche Entwicklung zu nutzen. Darüber hinaus lernen Sie Promovierende anderer Fakultäten kennen, die zeitgleich mit Ihnen die Absichtserklärung abgegeben haben, und kommen miteinander ins Gespräch. Weiterhin stellen wir Ihnen vor, wie die GraFA Sie auf Ihrem Weg durch die Promotion unterstützen kann – sei es durch spezielle Fortbildungen oder andere Maßnahmen.
Neben der Einführung in den Promotionsprozess hält Prof. Gari Walkowitz, Professur für Verhaltens- und Wirtschaftsethik, im Rahmen der Veranstaltung einen Workshop zu den Grundlagen Guter Wissenschaftlicher Praxis, welche einen wichtigen Baustein für die Qualität wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten darstellt. Zum Abschluss der Veranstaltung zeigt Dr. Dana Kuhnert die Unterstützungsmöglichkeiten der Universitätsbibliothek auf.
We want to discuss with you the diverse requirements that are made within the framework of the doctorate and discuss strategies for making good use of this time for your future professional development. In addition, you will get to know doctoral candidates from other faculties who have submitted their Declaration of Intent at the same time as you and you can get to talk to each other. Furthermore, we will introduce you to how GraFA can support you on your way through your doctorate – be it through special training or other measures.
In addition to the introduction to the doctoral process, Prof. Gari Walkowitz, Chair of Behavioral and Business Ethics, will hold a workshop on the basics of good scientific practice, which is an important building block for the quality of scientific work. At the end of the event, Dr. Dana Kuhnert will present the support options offered by the University Library.
