The registration to the online course „EIT International Summer School âFrom Dredging to Deep-Sea Miningâ is opened now.
This event initially planned as a summer school at TU Bergakademie Freiberg is offered online. The online course will be accessible to registered participants from 1 November to 31 December 2020 on the online platform for e-learning OPAL. The course contains video presentations developed by the leading scholars in the field (among project partners are TU Bergakademie Freiberg (project coordinator), NTNU, MontanuniversitÀt Leoben, TU Delft, BGR, GEOMAR, NIOZ, and IHC). It covers such topics as methods and technologies for mining and processing of marine minerals, marine geology and exploration, as well as environmental, economical, legislative and political aspects of deep-sea mining. The course is presented in English.
